Ascochinga is located 35 mi. away from the northwest of Cordoba, Argentina. Polo Ascochinga, gated community, is surrounded by abundant vegetation that offers different shades of color during every season, irregular land surface typical of the mountainous region of Cordoba and a historic population with its own richness of landscapes.

Antique farms and residential great houses are characteristic elements of this marvelous place crossed by the Ascochinga River. Estancia La Paz is an emblematic construction within this area; it is three miles away from the route E66 to Jesus Maria and it was turned into one of the main hotels of the country. Estancia Santa Catalina is almost eight miles away towards the north, by a provincial land route. This is one of the Jesuit buildings declared World Heritage Site by the UNESCO.

Ascochinga is situated at almost 803 yards above sea level and its population does not greater than one thousand persons.
